About me

Together, we'll focus on what works for you—your body, your lifestyle, and your goals.

Why I Do What I Do

There’s a certain kind of exhaustion that comes from not feeling like yourself — and not knowing how to fix it.
I remember that feeling clearly. Gut symptoms that left me uncomfortable day after day. Skin issues that impacted my confidence and sense of self. I wasn’t ignoring my health — I was trying everything I could. But despite all the advice, nothing truly addressed what was going on beneath the surface.
That experience is what shaped the way I work today.
I’m not here to give you a rigid plan or a list of generic rules. I’m here to understand you — your symptoms, your lifestyle, your goals — and help you build something that actually works for your body. Yes, there may be changes to make. But they’ll be rooted in clarity, not restriction.
Because this work isn’t just about food. It’s about feeling heard, supported, and back in control of your health — with confidence and calm.
It’s personal to me. And it always will be.

About Me

I’m Diana Chira — a London-based registered nutritionist, specialised in care management and diabetes, with a background in medical science. My work is grounded in compassion, evidence, and the belief that health should feel empowering — not overwhelming.
The name Kira Health comes from my surname, Chira (pronounced “Kira”), and reflects my multicultural background and the values that continue to shape how I practise today.
My approach to nutrition is rooted in empathy, science, and simplicity. Because I know first-hand what it’s like to feel uncomfortable in your body and unheard in your health journey.
After years of struggling with gut issues and persistent skin concerns, I realised how easy it is to feel lost in a system filled with quick fixes, generic plans, and conflicting advice. That experience shaped how I work today: not just as a practitioner, but as someone who listens, personalises, and helps make sense of what’s actually going on.
Before becoming a nutritionist, I studied Medical Science and worked across a range of hospital settings — from paediatrics and cardiothoracic care to the COVID-19 response team. I mentored and supported individuals living with chronic conditions, and provided nutritional education across different ages and life stages. These experiences taught me that health is never one-dimensional — it’s shaped by biology, lifestyle, mindset, and the right support.
Today, I bring that understanding into every client relationship — offering one-to-one nutrition support that’s not based on restriction, but on what works for you. It’s a collaborative, supportive process that meets you where you are and helps you build lasting change with confidence and clarity.
Whether you're working through digestive issues, fatigue, hormonal imbalances, skin conditions, emotional eating, or something more complex — my role is to guide and support you with care, clinical insight, and practical strategies.
Outside of clinic work, you’ll find me running, strength training, skiing, painting, or lost in a good book — because I believe health isn’t just about food. It’s also about joy, movement, self-expression, and whatever nourishes your whole self.
And food is a powerful part of that. It’s not just fuel — it’s connection, comfort, tradition, and joy. It brings people together and shapes how we live. I believe in helping you rebuild a positive, respectful relationship with food — one that supports your body, your life, and your wellbeing, without guilt or confusion.
If you’ve ever felt stuck, dismissed, or overwhelmed by your health — you’re not alone. You don’t have to figure it out on your own. I’m here to walk with you — step by step.
